A signature series by Jeff Holmwood integrates elegant form with complex technique that results in vortex pattern on each of these pieces. A cane pick-up is put on one blowpipe and twisted to a 90 degree angle. A second pipe is used to create the axis vortex allowing the pattern to open.  Because of the technical requirements on this process, black is used as a background and rust , yellow or green create the vortex of fluid motion drawing you into the center of the piece
